History

Toowong Village Dental surgery has proudly served the Toowong district for over 30 years. Although operating from a variety of locations in Toowong over the years, we were one of the original tenants in Toowong Village Tower when it opened in the late 1980's. A series of dedicated dentists and their staff have owned and operated the practice over the years and Dr Glen Harvey purchased the business from Dr Peter Stevens in March 2003.

Dr Glen Harvey, Dentist B.D.Sc (Hons) QLD

After graduating at the University of Queensland in 1993, Dr Glen Harvey worked as a Dental Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force until 2000. He then joined a modern private practice in Brisbane CBD before establishing himself at Toowong permanently.

Since graduating, Dr Harvey has kept up-to-date with some of the latest technology in the ever-changing dental industry and maintains membership at the following professional dental organisations:

Australian Dental Association
Australian Prosthodontic Society
Australian Society of Computerised Dentistry

Dr Harvey's philosophy is to practice dentistry in a personalised and comfortable environment. He strives to offer minimally invasive treatments to restore teeth to their former glory in a manner which is aesthetically pleasing and cost effective to his patients.

Dr Nicholas Lynch, Dentist B.D.Sc (Hons) QLD

Dr Nicholas Lynch joined the practice late in 2009. Being a recent graduate from The University of Queensland, Dr Lynch is up-to-date with the most recent advances in dentistry and maintains this position through attendance at various continuing professional development courses. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and The Australian Prosthodontic Society and has special interests in preventative and aesthetic dentistry, oral surgery and oral medicine.

Dr Lynch’s practice philosophies centre on a holistic, personalized and friendly approach to each patient’s oral health care. He endeavors to restore both soft and hard tissue aesthetics, function and health using modern conservative- and science-based approaches with the long-term goal of promoting a biologically stable environment aimed at minimizing future dental disease.
