General & Preventative Dentistry
Helping you to keep your teeth heathy for the rest of your life with minimal intervention is our goal. We recommend visiting us every six months for a checkup and thorough clean. This avoids major dental treatment by identifying and preventing problems before they progress.
Our waiting room and surgeries aim to make you feel welcome and calm with modern, comfortable furnishings and dental equipment. During your initial visit we will examine, clean and x-ray your teeth and address any urgent concerns. We then recommend a choice of options for your short and long term dental health.
When we see you regularly a partnership forms and your overall dental health benefits. But we also understand that things happen which makes attendance difficult. It’s never too late to schedule an appointment with us no matter how long it’s been since you’ve been to the dentist.
The range of General Dental Treatments we offer for the whole family include:
- Checkups
- Scale and clean
- Children’s Dentistry (Fissure sealants)
- White fillings
- Gum disease prevention
- Wisdom tooth assessment and removal
- Mouthguards and splints
- Crowns and bridges
- Root Canal treatment
- Complete and partial dentures
- Anti-snoring and Sleep apnoea devices
We want to offer you the most precise level of treatment possible. Digital scans and x-rays give us immediate diagnosis with reduced radiation exposure and intra-oral cameras allow us to explain treatment to patients by showing them inside their mouths.
We understand that coming to the dentist can be a stressful and anxious experience. We pride ourselves on making treatment as pain-free as possible. We offer local anaesthesia for routine treatments but additionally, employ a Dental IV Anaesthetist once a month who offer sedation in the chair in our surgery while your dentist completes any more complex treatments.
Our general dental treatment along with your consistent dental care at home are the perfect partnership for healthy teeth.
Infection control and sterilisation procedures are adhered to meticulously with all dental instruments and handpieces.
Disposable materials are routinely used.
